WPHS offers free school bus service for select students. Students riding the school bus are only able to attend periods 1-4. School bus drop off is available for students after 4th period.

School Bus Expectations
- Students are required to be at their designated stop 8 minutes prior to their pick-up time.
- Students must follow all school expectations while at bus stop and on school bus
- Administration or bus drivers have the right to assign seats on the school bus. Any student that does not follow this directive will lose the privilege of riding the school bus.
- Scheduled stops and times are subject to change by the Transportation Coordinator when necessary.
- All students attending on Fridays for tutoring, flex, or student activities and clubs will follow the Friday Pick-Up schedule.

Valley Metro City Bus Service
WPHS assists city bus riders by offering bus cards at a discounted rate. When purchasing any type of bus pass from the school you are going into a contract to follow a set of expectations and rules and you will be held accountable for your actions. The following expectation/rules must be met:
Failure to comply with these expectation/rules will result in loss of Valley Metro Transportation, disciplinary action taken at West Phoenix HS, and/or arrest.
WPHS assists city bus riders by offering bus cards at a discounted rate. When purchasing any type of bus pass from the school you are going into a contract to follow a set of expectations and rules and you will be held accountable for your actions. The following expectation/rules must be met:
- Must have your school identification card on while on the bus.
- No swearing, cursing, and/or foul language.
- When using audio or video devices, you must use earphones. Avoid loud conversations, music or cell phone calls.
- Beverages must be in a closed, spill-proof container such as a commuter cup or sports bottle.
- Vandalism or willful destruction of Valley Metro property is forbidden.
- You may not at any time use intimidation, be argumentative, and or verbally abusive to the driver.
- You may not spend more than one hour on a Valley Metro Rail station.
- You may not lie down on the seats or place your feet on them.
- You must obey and respect the driver's directions at all times.
