Alex Horton - Principal

Mr. Horton has been an administrator of schools within the Leona Group for 15 years. Horton became the principal of West Phoenix High School in April 2014. Earning his bachelor’s degree in Political Science at Presbyterian College (SC), Horton then earned his teacher certification at Georgia State University. After moving to Phoenix, Horton then earned his Master Degree in Administration and Supervision at the University of Phoenix. Mr. Horton taught for Social Studies courses for six years in the Dekalb County School System in Atlanta, GA. He has served as the principal of five different schools within the Leona Group and served at the Vice President of Leona Group Florida from 2013-2014.
